Despite the cold boston air telling me that winter will never end, I can feel that spring is coming; I can feel it in my itching burning eyes! I opened my filing cabinet this morning to get in search of relief and realized that I had a lot of drugs to chose from.
I found:
- Alaway Eye Drops (for allergies)
- Generic Claritin
- Generic Zyertec
- Some Nasal Spray (also for allergies)
- Diphenhydramin (Benadryl for the uninitiated)
- Ibuprophen
- Generic sudafed
- Some packet of small red pills, that I’ve used only once (I suspect they are sudafed)
- Maxalt (Migrane medication that always seems to expire about 6 months before my next migrane)
- An unopened bottle of Ibuprophen
- Staples (Not sure why I have these. I would highly recommend you not eat staples, just saying)

Seriously I’ve got my own little pharmacy going on, well except for the staples. What I find even crazier is I actually understand how most of these drugs work. With a little bit of review I could diagram out on a molecular and cellular level why this drugs produce their prescribed effect. Seriously I should have been a pharmacist, or an office supply provider.

/ March 25, 2009Yes, but can you diagram how a staple works? I worked at Staples—the office supply superstore—to fund my undergraduate education. The intellectual demands of office supplies are so rigorous, I had to get out in the end.

/ March 29, 2009Stuart, I would buy your drugs. But I’m not really in the market for staples right now. So sorry on that end.
