Today I’m bring two new albums your way.
The first album is Reservoir by Fanfarlo. Reservoir has a really unique sound. I immediately noticed the unique sound of the lead singer’s voice and that many non-traditional instruments are used. A few songs also rely on a trumpet to carry the melody which is really unique for the modern/alternative/rock genre. Overall I would give this album a 8/10. I’ve probably listened to this album 10+ times and find myself going back to it when I need a break from my usual music. Check out The Walls Are Coming Down below.
The second album is A Brief History of Love by The Big Pink. I bought this album as it was recommended by the same people that refered my to XX. I haven’t given this album the attention that it deserves but it is slowly growing on me. A song I’d recommend you listen to once is Dominos
Listen to the music and let me know what you think, I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
Also both of these bands have had songs added to my Quasi-Control YouTube playlist which I’ll try to update with new songs as I find them.
